The Element Key

I’m Benjamin Jamily, the inventor of The Element Key and the founder of this project. My journey started when I was hitchhiking across Europe as a street musician, living as a musical survivor. Over the years, this lifestyle honed my skills, transforming me into a talented singer and multi-instrumentalist.

Throughout these years, I’ve played and toured with various bands, studied in diverse music and yoga schools globally, and lived in communities like Damanhur and Ängsbacka. One pivotal project I helped to found was the Masterplants project, where we recorded albums and videos using special electronic equipment that enables plants to play music, exploring the intersection of nature and sound.

Reflecting on my vast experiences, I thought deeply about what makes music jams successful, the skills needed to master them, and how to make them accessible to everyone. This led to the development of The Element Key, refined over years of trial and error across countless scenarios and band constellations, incorporating dancers, sound healers, and tantric practitioners and much more.

I’ve distilled the essence of The Element Key into a method that can be learned in about 5 minutes, enabling people to create lifelong synergies with others. Now, I dedicate my life to sharing this unique approach to facilitating human synergy. I do this by hosting daily jams in Ängsbacka, performing live with “The Avatars”—my Element Key band—and conducting facilitator trainings across countries.

Today, we have active facilitators hosting The Element Key sessions in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, and Spain. My vision is to establish a worldwide network of people co-creating across art forms, cultures, and nations through The Element Key.

I am a musician, rapper, dancer, poet, physicist and project manager based in Jena Germany. I have been jamming for years now, whether dancing or playing music. I simply love to share creative experiences with (new) people. 

When I got to know The Element Key Jam with Benjamin Jamily at a festival in Ängsbacka, it just blew me away. Together we jammed in this style every day for a week. Whether it was just the two of us or in large groups. 

I love the diversity of The Element Key Jams: I have been part of powerful stories accompanied by dance, painting and music. There were also jams where we went deeper into an emotion, where we turned into a jungle, where we had music jams or just sang very long Ooooooos together. There are almost no limits to this technique, except the skills the participants bring and their personal limits.

Since October 2023 I have been hosting The Element Key Jam Sessions in Jena almost every week and in March 2024 Benjamin Jamily and I realized the first The Element Key Weekend, where we trained 4 more facilitators, hosted jams for about 80 people and played a completely improvised performance in front of an audience. I also tried the concept with a school class, which has its unique challenges.

I’m Patryk Ludwiński, a Polish-Brazilian creative known for my enthusiastic and cheerful personality. My rich cultural heritage deeply influences my work, allowing me to blend diverse influences seamlessly, enriching both my personal and professional life. Filmmaking is not just my passion but also what financially supports my creative endeavors.

Music is another vital part of my life; I love singing, playing the guitar, and immersing myself in various (often Brazilian) percussions. I also practice and teach capoeira, which not only expresses my cultural identity but also my devotion to physical artistry.

As a facilitator for the Element Key, I use my multifaceted talents and vibrant energy to help others unlock their creative potential through innovative jamming methods.

Playing music has been a central part of my life for almost as long as I can remember. Hence, when my old friend Julian introduced me to the Element Key Method, my curiosity was immediately piqued. The idea of a completely new and different type of jam session sounded pretty bold at first, especially since I’ve experienced a colorful palette of sessions – from traditional folk circles and hip-hop cyphers to rock and pop open stages and real book jazz nights. However, I believe in keeping an open mind, and the Element Key Sessions delivered on their promise. 

The simplicity of the Element Key language, contrasted with the vast array of artistic expressions it enables – including music, dancing, poetry, and painting – captivated me from the first notes. After training as an Element Key Facilitator with Benjamin and Julian on an amazing weekend in March 2024, I have been organizing sessions in Erlangen. Starting August 2024, I will be continuing this journey in Oslo.

My name is Josua and I love to create a place for people to experience creativity, resonance, and co-creation. I grew up playing instruments and singing in my family and in the church. As a student I played in a band. For two years, I practice conscious dancing and I’m trying out various partner dances. I weave all these experiences and my training in embodiment coaching into my facilitation of The Element Key Jam sessions. It’d be great to see you there.

Hi there. My name is Lara, I’m 25 years old and I’ve been making music since I was a child. I sing and play guitar (Guitar only as a beginner).

For me the element key opened a new world and has and continues to inspire me in so many ways from learning more practical music skills to explore how to meet other humans in their creative longings and challenges and shine together.

I attended my first elemental key circles with its founder Benjamin in winter 2023. since in early 2024 I’ve had the chance to study and explore the elemental key closely alongside Benjamin and started facilitating circles and also lead our five element key band in performance.

This is just amazing and each time is brand new, only the elements remain, all else is created by what is present in this very moment. I’m so grateful to all this has brought me and to get to be part of sharing and spreading this.

The feeling of connection is one of the most amazing things in life and that is what I find through the sessions. The fact that it happens through creating what I love such as music, dance, art, massage, poetry and more just makes it absolutely fantastic. The elemental key gives a structure that invites for creativity and improvisation, a sensation of freedom and co creation at the same time.
